# TikTok

Launch a TikTok quest with **`/tiktok`**.

## Required input

* **`video_link`** – TikTok video URL (full or shortened).
* **`duration`** – How long the quest stays claimable (1h / 4h / 6h / 12h / 24h / 48h / 72h).

### Supported URL formats

* `https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/VIDEO_ID`
* `https://www.tiktok.com/@username/photo/VIDEO_ID`
* `https://vm.tiktok.com/shortcode/` (Engage will automatically resolve the shortened URL)

Only TikTok videos posted in the **last 30 videos** of the author's profile can be used. Older videos cannot be tracked.

## What members do

When a TikTok quest is posted, members complete the following on TikTok:

* Follow the channel
* Like the video
* Leave a comment

Then they hit the **Verify** button under the quest embed. Engage checks the video against the user's connected TikTok account (`/set tiktok`) and awards the configured points.

## Setup steps for users

#### Connect TikTok

Run `/set tiktok account:<your-tiktok-username>` once. Your TikTok account is global across servers.

#### Open the quest

Click the TikTok button on the quest embed and complete the three tasks.

Click the **Verify** button on the embed to claim points.

## Stats

Server admins can view live interaction stats from the **engage-logs** channel — every TikTok post drops a stats embed with a button that opens a per-quest breakdown.
